Not everything is what you think

jypsie-cade:

Jypsie giggled as she grabbed her purse besides her. She slung it over her shoulder before pushing in her chair and ran out beside vixen. Jypsie’s pencil skirt ruffled at the top before she smoothed it out.

She called for a taxi and opened the door. She let Vixen go in first, since it was snowing at this point outside. Then went in after her.

“Where are you two beautiful ladies off to?” the driver asked before driving. Jypsie answered, “Nearest mall sir,” it made him chuckled. “Figured, two beautiful women paying for themselves. Independent,” she gave a smile to the driver. All she wanted was him to shut up and drive.

When he stopped in front of the mall, he asked, “Cash or credit ma’am?” Jypsie leaned over to look at the man as the got out of the taxi. “Or would you like me to send your bill to your father?” This made Jypsie’s eyes widened slightly. She threw the cash at the taxi man, and he drove away.

Vixen saw the man laughing to himself has he continued to run away. She frowned. Although, it didn`t surprise her. People could be the biggest threat to humanity itself. She turned to Jypsie and offered her a soft smile. Vixen figured that she would`ve been slightly used to it by now, but her eyes begged to differ.

“Just another configured jerk,” she said as she started to walk towards the entrance.

She wasn`t the greatest at comforting people. There wasn`t really anything she could say to them to make them feel better. Anyways, half the time they just think she has no actual feelings anyways. Vixen didn`t mind too much. Because of it people tend not to bother her. And in truth, she was very apathetic. But who wouldn`t be in her situation?

As the petite escort and hostess tries to pass by him, he blocked her exit by leaning against the door frame. “Going somewhere Tucci?” he looked at her up and down. She wasn’t hard on the eyes, in fact, she was very easy on the eyes. Thierry was pretty pleased, and if he weren’t trying to be serious at this moment he would’ve been smirking as his eyes basked in her appearance.

He cleared his throat, “Well?” he continued, “Where were you the whole day?” His hazel eyes were quite pleased with her appearance. Even her curls were cute. Thierry recalled hearing Xenos take care of the clients’ dates and what not. Tucci had a few already. No doubt the dates piled more up while she was gone. “Did you forget you had a job?”

Vixen groaned as Thierry blocked her way. She was hungry and wanted to change out of her dress. She sighed heavily, preparing for what her employer had to say to her. She watched as he looked at her. Vixen of course knew well about what Thierry liked to do. She found that undeniably annoying. How men in this society could take advantage of women. And how stupid women could be. Letting men play them. She stared at him for a couple of minutes, trying to decide wether to answer or just keep walking.

“I-i, was busy,” she sighed, “Anyways, i don`t make too much money for you, now do i Mr. Prideux? Wouldn`t you rather be hounding to other girls who actually do?”

And that much was true. Vixen was one of the most unwilling employees. She had yet to sleep with a client. So far, in the short time she`s been in Entache L’amour, she had only given a lap dance, once. While to other girls, in their first few days they had slept with as many clients as they possibly could. Once again, she tried to pass her employer and go into the hall behind him.

Thierry skimmed through the paperwork before deciding to give up. He grinned and walked over to the female stripper section. He watched as they worked their poles, giving them all approving looks. They were amazing, and he was grateful he was the owner of Entache L’amour. Though, he noticed someone missing.

Giving a sigh, he went to the girls’ room. Checking on each other before stumbling on a certain one. The plaque on the door stated “Sweetpea Tucci.” After asking around for Sweetpea, he seemed a little peeved. A worker went to the library and never came out. It was either she was having sex with a client outside the walls of Entache L’amour or she was honestly in the library.

He heard the front doors open, his head turned to face whoever walked in. No other than Sweetpea.

Vixen had somehow wasted her whole day in the library. She knew it would be very strange for a person in her line of work, but to her reading was just so fascinating. Learning worlds outside of hers was so intriguing. Before entering the club, she looked back down at her dress. Quickly, she fixed it and hoped her curls were in place.

As she entered, she saw a few glances towards her. A few went back to what they were doing before. Other`s continued to stare. She sighed. Vixen could tell be their stares that they knew where she had gone. She couldn`t blame them, it was strange. Suddenly, as she continued to look through the stares, she saw Thierry`s eyes.

Then, she remember something. As if her brain didn`t for the whole day. Vixen remembered that she actually had a few jobs today. She bit her tongue and tried to pass her ‘employer’.

jypsie-cade:

“I know you are. I’m just reminding you,” she smiled at her friend. Jypsie thought for awhile before saying. “I don’t really care about what you do for Playboy, what you do for Entache. All I want is a job, all I need is to survive,” she told her friend. Jypsie honestly did not care about Playboy and Entache’s rivalry.

After finishing their food and drinks. Jypsie came up with an idea, “Wanna go shopping?”

Vixen smiled when Jypsie mentioned the word ‘survive’. She knew what she meant. Even though, it might be a little different from her situation.

That`s all Vixen had been trying to do for the past ten years. Survive. Even now. She`s just trying to survive. If you didn`t have Playboy, she would be dead. Probably in a corner of a street. And for saving her life, she was grateful there was no other word to explain it. If she were to turn on Playboy and go to Entache L’amour there would be a pit in her stomach, never filling with anything. Playboy was one big family to her. She didn`t have anyone, or anywhere to go.

Looking up, she smiled and nodded at the other girl. Quickly, she grabbed her bags and ran back outside into the unusually chilly air.

Shopping seemed like a wonderful idea. There just seemed to be money in her bank that never really went down. Vixen shrugged to herself, maybe she just didn`t have anymore time for shopping.

Jypsie cringed for awhile. Her blue gray eyes were fixated on the girl in front of her before the averted to her cup of coffee. She took another sip before putting it down and answering her. “Haven’t seen him in five years,” she answered truthfully. Jypsie left her father at the age of fifteen, after being neglected for previous ten years. Her mother’s death was when she was five.

She smoothed out her chocolate hair before questioning Vixen. “Heff got you on this mission?” Jypsie knew it. Heff probably did. With the bunnies leaving, and Entache L’amour gaining, he probably got desperate. Spying was normal in the city of Chicago. Jypsie caught her father appointing his fixer and giving him missions. It sickened her when it was her father. Though, with Vixen, she understood.

“Be careful.”

Vixen decided not to push any further with her father. She knew well when to stop or keep on pressing. In truth, she didn`t really care about making friends. But there was something different about Jypsie. Maybe it was the way that they understood each other, or the fact that the other girl`s past was similar. Just something made them click, made them stay together.

She gave the other girl a look before saying, “I`m always careful.”

And it was true. When it came to something as big as being a spy, she was always careful. There was no room error in this. Vixen chose a name that would stick into people`s heads. She chose something that seemed strange and out of the ordinary, to fit in enough. Enough that no one would become too suspicious. Vixen also faded into the background, with no one knowing much about her past or anything about her it was easy to be forgotten.

“I can almost say the same thing to you,” she paused for a little bit. Jypsie mentally contemplated whether or not to say what she was about to say next. She continued in a hushed tone, “being a loyal bunny that is,” she took a sip of her raspberry coffee.

Jypsie thought about why Vixen would even be in Entache L’amour. Money? Playboy gave Vixen enough money. Coworkers? They were like family to her. Not to Jypsie though, Playboy was nothing but a job. Something Jypsie needed to do in order to upset daddy and be independent. Then it just clicked. Spy.

The thought didn’t bother Jypsie. It was Vixen’s life, Vixen’s choice. She just worried for her friend.

Vixen gave her a nonchalant shrug as she sipped her cappuccino. She knew that Jypsie would figure it out eventually. To anyone that knew at least a small portion of her past, it would be obvious. Playboy wasn`t just another job for her. It saved her life and now it was really the only thing she lived for. She was once taught, if you can find one good thing in your life always never lose sight of it. Vixen was never one to care for money, never one to care for power.

“Maybe being a loyal Playboy is an identifier in your case,” she paused, as she smiled softly, “but to everyone else, i`m just another girl.”

She found no point in hiding it. Jypsie was enough of a friend to her. Well, enough for Vixen to test to see if she could trust her. Besides, their pasts were interconnected. With the other girl`s father being a very well-known mafia leader. Vixen fidgeted with her necklace which had a key with the Playboy symbol on it. before speaking again.

“How are things with your father?” she asked nonchalantly.

Vixen always kept up with current events.. or events that held importance. And knowing that the question would raise something out of the girl in front of her, she just gave a shrug.

jypsie-cade:

Jypsie quickly fixed her hair and got ready to meet up with an old Playboy friend. Vixen Tucci, known as Sweetpea in Entache L’amour. She couldn’t believe how stupid the managers could be to let a loyal Playboy Bunny into their walls. The war between Playboy and Entache L’amour was phenomenal and amusing. Jypsie tried to stay out of it, she had her own problems anyways.

With her father as a mafia lord, Xenos keeping an eye on her, and the bitches that roamed Entache L’amour. She usually kept to herself. They knew who she was, and she knew who they were. They kept away from her, her family, was all they saw in her.

She walked into the cafe and quickly ordered in the front before walking over to Vixen. Jypsie took a seat across from her and smiled, “Vixen.”

Vixen tapped her mug with her nails, making a repetetive noise throughout the whole cafe. She was thinking. Thinking about what she could do to be a better spy. Her current tactics seemed to be working seamlessly, but she knew well that it wouldn`t last long. Vixen always liked to keep to herself. No one knew about her, just another girl who seems to be scared of people. But in truth, she didn`t mind people. Just everytime she finds something from a person she doesn`t like, it seems to stick in her mind. It doesn`t leave, and when the person speaks to her, her speach comes out a little too hostile.

Her train of thought was broken when she saw Jypsie sit in front of her.

‘Vixen’

The name seemed a little foreign now. Especially coming from an Entache L’amour member. She gave the other girl a quick smile. She waited after Jypsie ordered to speak.

“I must say,” she said softly, “It`s rather strange seeing you outside of both Playboy and Entache L’amour.”

Vixen ran her fingers across the rough stone wall. She made small movements as the wind tugged at her hair. It was a rather cold chilly morning in Chicago. She pulled her scarf over her mouth as she slid an envelope into the mailbox. Every Wednesday she made a habit of herself to wake up early and write a small letter, no matter how useless it may be. It showed that she was still there, and was still willing. Vixen knew well that the other that went before her had quickly converted and was now a loyal Entache L’amour employee all in such a short period of time. Too short. They were barely even able to get any information off of them.

Vixen knew well that she was different. Why else would they even try again? Especially with such a young memeber.

She quickly slipped into a cafe. It was located a few metres aways from Entache L’amour and had a very unique, quiet atmoshphere. Just they way Vixen liked everything. Unique, with something to hide. She had agreed to meet one of her old Playboy friends here. She couldn`t quite understand why the other girl would go into Entache L’amour so easily, but she never asked. Vixen was never one to pry. Quickly, she sat at a nearby table, ordered and waited.

Childish ways never seem to leave those with siblings.

Can’t blame them though, they are entirely different people.

Two different people with one goal.

Hm. It never changes with them, I swear.
